The Design team brings extensive experience in Hospitality, Master Planning, Retail, Mixed use and Automotive design. Our combined expertise forms a blend of creativity that defines Centroid identity today.

Karim Benjamin

Karim Benjamin

( Co-founder | US Managing Director )

Mr. Benjamin is responsible for the development and implementation of both short- term and long-term project-wide strategies. Throughout his architecture and construction career, he has overseen projects with a combined value of over $400 million, encompassing commercial, educational, religious, mixed-use, residential, retail, and hospitality sectors.

Mr. Benjamin moved to the U.S. in 1999 and joined UC Berkeley. He earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture and engineering. He has held various executive positions, including Founder and CEO of BDI Contract, President of MKB Design Group, Development and Design Director at GMID, Project Construction Manager at HKS Inc., and Founder of Don Orange Hospitality Group.

Yasser Salah

( Co-founder | Business Development Director )

Mr. Yasser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Ain-Shams University and a Master’s in Business Development. With over 28 years of extensive experience in architecture and project management, he has contributed significantly to various large- scale projects, including airports, mixed-use buildings, healthcare facilities, and hospitality projects.

His professional tenure includes positions with esteemed multinational firms such as Dar Al-Handasah and GHD Global. Currently, Mr. Yasser plays a pivotal role in project planning, office management, and business development strategies at CENTROID. He is instrumental in driving the organization’s operations and identifying diverse opportunities within both regional and international markets.

Mel Grewe

( Architect )

Mr. Mel has over 40 years of experience, licensed in the US in California, Virginia, Washington D.C.,Tennessee, and Georgia handling projects as an Architect and Design-Builder. Project types

have included Commercial, Hospitality, Educational, Industrial, Sports, and Research facilities.
